Welcome to the KIDS App We are committed to protecting the privacy of both parents and children who use our educational platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Our app is designed with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in mind to ensure a safe, ad-free, and secure learning environment.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide a personalized learning experience and maintain your account. We do not collect personal information directly from children; all data is provided by the parent or guardian during setup and usage.

A. Information Provided by Parents

When you create an account, we collect:

• Parent Account Info: Email address, Full Name, Phone Number, Preferred Language, and general location (Country, State, City).
• Authentication Data: We support standard email/password login and Google Sign-In. If you use Google, we receive basic profile information (like your email) to authenticate your account.

B. Child Profile Information

When you set up a profile for your child, we collect:

• Profile Details: First name or nickname, age group, selected avatar, and learning preferences.
• Note: We never ask for your child's real full name, location, or contact information.

C. Learning and Activity Data

As your child uses the app, we automatically collect:

• Progress Metrics: Modules started and completed, skills mastered, and current learning levels.
• Engagement Data: Badges earned, daily learning streaks, and recent activities.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for educational and functional purposes:

• Personalized Learning: To tailor story packs, games, and modules to your child's age group and learning preferences.
• Parental Dashboard: To generate accurate learning statistics and progress reports for parents.
• App Functionality: To manage authentication, maintain parental PIN gates, and offer offline caching (so your child can learn without an active internet connection).

We DO NOT:

• Serve targeted advertisements to you or your child.
• Sell your data or your child’s data to third parties.
• Track your child across other apps or websites.

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage (Offline Caching)

To make the app fast and usable offline, we securely store some data directly on your device (e.g., authentication tokens, child profiles, and recent learning progress).

Cloud Storage

Your data is securely transmitted and stored on Voostech's servers. We use industry-standard encryption protocols to protect your account and your child's learning data from unauthorized access.

4. Your Rights and Choices

As a parent or guardian, you have full control over your family's data:

• Review and Edit: You can update your parental information or your child’s profile details at any time via the Parent Settings dashboard.
• Account Deletion: You have the right to permanently delete your account. Doing so will immediately erase your parental account, all child profiles, and all associated learning progress from our servers. You can initiate this directly from the Settings > Account & About > Delete Account section in the app.
